Canoeing
Within 10 minutes from Ingloss Skies you can access the River Waveney, launch your kayak or canoe and be on waters exclusive to non-motor-powered craft. You may have to carefully pass Cows drinking and cooling themselves in the warm summer sun. You may have to paddle carefully by swans and geese with their young signets.
What you will definitely experience is a calming, tranquil, water-based experience to cherish, observing nature at their pace of life.
Wildfowl are ever present, so whilst binoculars are helpful, you don’t necessarily need their help to see rare birds, river dwelling mammals and migrating birds that stop-over in the Norfolk/Suffolk area.
What can I do?
Our fabulous location at Ingloss Skies offers several options depending on what your passion, fitness level and interests are. Within a short distance you are able to access waterways, unencumbered by motorised craft. Whether you Stand-Up-Paddleboard, Kayak or Canoe, you will be able to access the waterways with minimum fuss.
Fancy something more challenging? Then take the opportunity to access to Norfolk/Suffolk coast for an experience on the sea.
How can I do it?
To take the first step on an on-water experience you will need the appropriate equipment and clothing. So far we have found that our guests have their own equipment that they are happy to bring and use. All we need to know in advance of you time at Ingloss Skies is what experiences you would love to take away with you. Once we understand your passions, desires, and interests we can offer suggestions and guidance to hopefully ensure your experiences are fulfilling, memorable and inclusive.
