Located on the Norfolk/Suffolk border within reach of stunning coastlines, close to the endless Norfolk broads, secluded rivers, expansive countryside, secluded wooded areas and quiet lanes. Ingloss Skies is located on sustrans national cycle route 1 with stunning uninterrupted views where you can watch the sun both rise and set over the natural landscape.
Our focus in all that we do is to be conscious and aware of our part in working towards a level of sustainability. We have some way to go in our education, understanding and development, but to be aware and be on that journey is as equally important to us as arriving. For everyone this is an expedition, an adventure into what’s possible and how we can change our preconceptions.
When conceiving the conversion and creation of Ingloss Skies we were passionate to underpin the practical transformation wherever possible with the use of recycled, natural and sustainable materials. We might not have achieved that 100%, but we have offset some of the practical requirements of customer expectations by such things as buying second furniture and using reclaimed scaffold boards, the use of natural, non man-made products and ultimately trying to work with what we have and not against.
We have a location that naturally takes in the world around us as an ever changing canvas of views we can lose ourself in from within our home. We have passionately wanted that experience to be integral to Ingloss Skies, and have achieved this by not compromising on ensuring incredible views from Ingloss Skies and by the use of natural materials; “bringing the outside inside”.

More and more outlets offer the amazing opportunity to repurpose someone else’s discarded items. It can take time and imagination, and as long as you embrace the challenge and enjoy the experience it is amazing what can be found and re-used, possibly in a way that the material or item was not created for.

Practically and what you’ll want to know before committing your precious time, is that our accommodation is self contained; a living space with two sets of French doors giving views over fields stretching for miles including a woodburner, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, oven and hob. A bedroom that sleeps two with a further set of French doors so that the views are continued. A large bathroom with a large walk-in shower.

If you view our activities you’ll see the options and opportunities at hand should you wish to take a-hold of experiences, maybe new, maybe familiar but in a different environment. Should you wish to have a quiet time for reflection and contemplation, our location is accessible but remote, with the road on which you access Ingloss Skies more used to cycles and horses than cars.
